The diamond reaches out for you. This van Der Veer ad in print featured a compelling image of a large diamond in the center. Readers would see its sparkle, purity, and transparency and be enamored by its beauty.
To further enhance the ad, I took a diamond video and masked it over the ad. Now the diamond appears to be floating off the ad and toward the reader.
Simplicity: Home and Garden
With digital, there is an opportunity to make ads and articles dynamic through video or VFX. For this article, I created a VFX fire for the fireplace that captures the cozy home atmosphere. By far, this is the most realistic fire effect I have achieved through After Effects.
